PRECIOUS BLOOD--BUILDING STONES
OUR TOWER OF REFUGE

[23:55] Father thank you for all your blessings today [23:56] yes Lord [23:56] lord forgive us of our sins where we have fallen short [23:56] lord bless the study tonight [23:56] yes lord [23:56] bless all my brothers [23:56] <^CUPCAKE41^> yes Lord [23:56] and my sisters [23:57] and all of those less fortunate than us [23:57] father have your way with those that spread your word [23:58] yes [23:58] to glorify your name [23:58] in all this we ask [23:58] in jesus name [23:58] amen [23:58] atenderheart2 amen [23:59] amen [23:59] <^CUPCAKE41^> amen [23:59] amen [23:59] Precious Blood Righteous Stones [23:59] Our Tower Of Refuge [00:00] There comes a time in every warrior of God's life when they must go to a place to renew their strength. [00:01] as that daily battle rages on in the world [00:01] Now although this battle has already been won by Jesus [00:02] the warriors of God will become fatigued from the combat [00:02] and this is because our body and emotions weaken as we go forward into the fight [00:03] It is at times like these that the warrior must get to a protected place [00:03] to renew and refresh himself [00:04] They need their sanctuary, a tower of refuge [00:05] where they can recuperate and prepare [00:05] for their battles [00:06] In war these places that a warrior goes to is called forts or fire bases [00:07] from which they go out and face the enemy in battle and then return for a safe place to rest [00:07] In today's bases the protection comes from concrete barb wire, and other perimeter defenses [00:07] and inside these bases the enemy cannot penetrate easily or attack [00:08] Now it is that our spiritual fire bases are made up of the Righteous stones of Jesus and His precious blood that was shed for us [00:09] His blood is still powerful and flowing [00:09] it is our life [00:09] our weapon [00:09] and our strength [00:09] against the enemy [00:10] and it is this Blood that the demons and Satan fear [00:10] and are stopped for they can not overcome His blood [00:11] and it is that the righteous stones He has laid for us are stronger then anything the enemy has against us [00:11] Although Satan may hammer at the wall of our tower [00:11] he has no way of breaking it down [00:12] This is the difference between the warrior of God and the captive of Satan [00:12] as both face the daily battles in the world today [00:13] He is our tower of refuge and it is by these two items it is built upon [00:13] and when we are feeling overwhelmed or weary we can go into it to renew [00:13] kjv psalm 61:1-3 Psalms 61:1 Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. Psalms 61:2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Psalms 61:3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. [00:14] kjv proverbs 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. [00:15] For the warriors to feel safe they must know what their tower of refuge is made up of and how it is built so he can trust in it to protect him from the enemy assault when they are at a weak point [00:16] and thus it is that from our towers of refuge we sally forth to engage the demonic forces in the world tearing down their strongholds and freeing their captives through Jesus [00:17] now our enemy is fearful of the warrior who is allowing God to use them as His tools to free the lost [00:18] This is because the demonic strongholds are made up of stones of sin held together with lies and falsehoods [00:18] and through Jesus they easily fall [00:19] But when they come against the stronghold of God [00:19] or towers of refuge [00:19] they can not overcome and tear down His foundation stones or weaken His blood [00:19] the precious blood that was shed for you and me [00:20] there is power in the blood [00:20] and a sure footing on the rock [00:20] And now it is this power of the blood that we are going to take a look at and see how it works [00:21] in giving us the victory for the glory of our Lord and Saviour [00:21] Jesus [00:21] kjv 1 peter 1:18-19 1 Peter 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 1 Peter 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: [00:21] kjv 1 peter 2:4-5 1 Peter 2:4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, 1 Peter 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. [00:22] This is the precious blood that holds our stone together [00:23] they all now this and it causes them to tremble [00:23] Why do you ask? [00:23] kjv revelation 12:10-11 Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. [00:24] What is it that gives the blood of Jesus power over the enemy? [00:25] what is it that the blood of Jesus does in the life of a warrior of God? [00:25] What is it that the blood of Jesus hold our stones together and protects us from the onslaught? [00:26] 1. It redeems us from sin [00:27] By redemption we can stand before the enemy and know that if he brings up our past failures to try and weaken us we can tell him that we have been redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus [00:27] kjv 1 peter 1:18-19 1 Peter 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 1 Peter 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: [00:28] 2. It cleanses us from the old man [00:28] kjv 1 john 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. [00:28] kjv revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, [00:28] Jesus paid the price [00:28] he cleaned us up [00:29] and through Him we have salvation and eternal life [00:29] 3. It forgives us [00:29] kjv ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; [00:30] 4. IT BRINGS US CLOSER TO GOD [00:31] kjv ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. [00:31] By the sacrifice Jesus made it is His blood that bridges the gap that sin put between man and God [00:32] and through His blood we can go to the Father [00:32] 5. it sanctifies us [00:32] kjv Hebrews 13:12-13 Hebrews 13:12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. Hebrews 13:13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. [00:33] It is by these we have our tower [00:33] in these we take comfort [00:33] knowing that He is faithful to the end [00:33] and His promises are forever [00:34] 6. It causes growth in our lives [00:34] kjv john 6:53-54 John 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. John 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. [00:34] kjv john 6:55-57 John 6:55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. John 6:56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him. John 6:57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me. [00:35] For us to be overcomers we must grow in Him [00:35] 7. It enables us to overcome the world [00:35] kjv revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. [00:35] 8. It brings peace into our lives [00:36] kjv Colossians 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. [00:36] kjv Colossians 1:21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled [00:36] kjv Colossians 1:22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: [00:37] In this we can take comfort knowing through Jesus we have been given eternal life [00:38] our unrighteous is righteous through the blood of Jesus [00:38] 9. It gives assurance of blessing [00:39] kjv Hebrews 9:14-15 Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Hebrews 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. [00:39] kjv romans 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? [00:39] this is our blessed assurance [00:39] in Jesus [00:40] and it renews us in our faith [00:40] 10. It gives us standing and boldness in the day of judgement so we can face it without fear [00:40] kjv romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. [00:41] Now this is not to mean we can be boastful [00:41] we still must approach God with reverence and humbleness [00:41] but it does mean we do not have to dread Him [00:42] for Jesus made the way for us [00:42] 11. It gives us a boldness before God through Jesus [00:43] 12. It gives us a promise of His return [00:43] kjv luke 22:20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. [00:44] kjv 1 Corinthians 11:25-26 1 Corinthians 11:25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. 1 Corinthians 11:26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come. [00:45] and thus it is by the above that we see how the blood of Jesus defeats the blows of the enemy both when we are in battle and when we are in towers of refuge for renewing and strength [00:46] Now it is time to look at the foundation stone that our towers is on [00:47] Now the stone we are talking of is Jesus [00:47] but although one stone it serves many purposes in our life [00:48] and it is these purposes that make up our tower walls [00:48] kjv psalm 118:20-21 Psalms 118:20 This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter. Psalms 118:21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation. [00:48] kjv psalm 118:22 The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner. [00:48] kjv Matthew 21:42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? [00:49] It is time now for us to look at these different aspects of our corner stone and see how it forms the walls we are behind when we are renewing from the battle [00:49] in our tower of refuge [00:50] kjv isaiah 28:16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. [00:50] 1. It is a living stone that saved us [00:50] kjv 1 Peter 2:4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, [00:51] 2. It is the foundation stone that will bear us up undr pressure [00:51] kjv 1 Corinthians 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. [00:52] 3. It is a sure stone that will satisfy and sustain us [00:52] kjv 1 peter 2:4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, [00:53] 4. It is a sure stone that will keep us no matter what we face [00:53] kjv 1 peter 2:4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, [00:54] 5. It is a testing stone to test and lead us [00:54] kjv 1 peter 2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. [00:54] 6. It is a tried stone that is strong and true to us that holds us [00:55] kjv 1 peter 2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. [00:55] by this the enemy can not trip us up [00:55] he can not confuse us [00:55] for Jesus is the same [00:55] and His promises are true and kept [00:56] 7. It is a corner stone that unites us with our brothers and sisters to one cause and purpose [00:56] kjv Ephesians 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; [00:56] we are all one in Jesus [00:56] through Hm we are united [00:57] helping each other [00:57] in the good times and the bad [00:57] these are the stones that make up the walls of our tower [00:57] With these we will not fail [00:58] we will not quit [00:58] we will not give up [00:58] we will defeat Satan [00:58] we will free captives [00:58] we will show Jesus to the world [00:58] For we are His warriors [00:58] and through Him we have the power [00:59] to overcome the world [00:59] and its strongholds [00:59] knowing that we can get to our towers of refuge when the need arises [00:59] for Jesus has provides it for us so we can win [00:59] for Him [01:00] and through Him [01:00] and so it is that we now see how [01:00] the Precious Blood and Righteous Stones [01:00] of our Tower Of Refuge [01:01] helps us [01:01] protects us [01:01] and renews us [01:01] as we meet the enemy and battle him for the glory of our lord and Saviour Jesus Christ [01:01] God bless you all [01:02] amen [01:02] amen [01:02] let us pray [01:02] our heavenly father [01:02] we come to you now [01:02] yes lord [01:02] giving thanks for the towers of refuge you have given us [01:02] yes [01:02] thank you Jesus [01:02] and by You the precious blood and foundation stones are here for our help [01:03] yes [01:03] I ask that you bless every one here tonight [01:03] yes Lord [01:03] when they feel weak show them to the tower [01:03] yes [01:03] help them to the tower [01:04] and renew them as we all go out to show the world you [01:04] yes [01:04] unite us in the cause you have given us [01:04] yes lord [01:04] we love you Lord for your sacrifice and your blessings [01:04] thank you Jesus [01:04] yes Lord [01:04] yes lord [01:04] we ask these things in the name of jesus [01:05] amen [01:05] amen [01:05] amen
