remaining physical hindrances

distractions and discord from this place as we seek to
increase in understanding your will and guidance for our

[23:33] Facing The Millennium With God
[23:34] In the air now no matter where one
goes there is a feeling among all the people.
[23:35] And it is the minds of both the
children of God and the children of the world.
[23:35] There is not a day that goes by
that there is not a mention of the new millennium
[23:35] Banks are sending out letters to
comfort [23:36] the governments are
sending out letters to put people at ease
[23:36] Churches are trying to comfort the
flocks with plans on how to make it through if there is a
problem with society as the world faces the new century
[23:38] But with the countdown now in its
final phase to the year 2000 there is a sudden fear
beginning to arise in the hearts of mankind.
[23:39] The dawning of the new millennium
is now upon us and with its arrival being herald by every
media in the world the seeds of fear and depredation are
blossoming in the hearts and minds of people everywhere
[23:39] computer crashes
[23:39] food shortages
[23:39] bank crisis
[23:40] all of this is being put forth by
the world [23:40] People are afraid of the
unknown that they will be facing in the new millennium
[23:41] And sadly many christians are also
beginning to worry a little and wonder if the others
could be right [23:42] Being prepared for
an emergency is fine but when it permeates the dominates
one's thought then it is bondage. [23:43]
Instead of looking to the new millennium as a time of
opportunity the enemy as sowed the seeds of fear and
apprehension
[23:44] This is wrong and a new tactic
that Satan has come up with to hinder and stop the work
of God to reach the world [23:44] He is
getting people to think f the worse and loose their focus
on the One who controls the future [23:45]
I see the new millennium as a opportunity to spread His
word all over the world
[23:45] But some see only the depredation
of the society we live in
[23:47] I have heard good workers of God
talk about the new year and some of them are really
afraid of what will happen [23:47] So
tonight we are going to take a little while and see how
we with God can face the new millennium together and
reach the lost for His glory
[23:48] We have been forewarned of this
event where mens hearts would faint and fail in dire
times
[23:49] But perhaps instead of this being
physical it could also be in the spiritual sense
[23:49] When a persons courage fails they
soon fall captive to fear and from this fear bondage can
arise [23:50] Jesus tells us:
[23:50] kjv luke 21:25-26 Luke 21:25 And
there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in
the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with
perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
Luke 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for
looking after those things which are
coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be
shaken. [23:51] Yes this is going to come
to pass but Jesus also has left us with these promises
for this time [23:51] kjv Luke 21:27-28
Luke 21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming
in a cloud with power and great glory.
Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass,
then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption
draweth nigh. [23:52] kjv luke 21:31-32
Luke 21:31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come
to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
Luke 21:32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall
not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
[23:52] This is a promise that we will
soon se our Lord and we should be out working to save the
lost and not hiding in fear of the new millennium
[23:53] Jesus says He will always be with
us even until the end of the world . so why should we
worry about the coming of the new year
[23:53] kjv Matthew 28:19-20 Matthew 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy
Ghost: Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things
whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you
alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
[23:54] Jesus is with us now and He is
going to be with us when that clock strikes 1201 jan 1
2000 [23:54] e are not to fear!
[23:55] We should rejoice for we will be
the first generation that is going to see His return
[23:56] Now these are the days we live in
and we must be at our work for the Lord to save the lost
for His glory for time is running out
[23:56] and with the shortage of time the
harvest will be great and we are not going to have time
to worry about the new millennium
[23:57] We are going to have to trust in
God and go on with His work in the world
[23:58] Let us now go to hear from a
prophet of old who foretold of many things of the future
[23:58] And from his writing we will hear
the voice of the Lord speakingm words of comfort to His
children living now [23:59] Remember we
are a spiritual type of Israel to God so when you see the
word Israel or Zion think of it as the family of God
[00:00] From the prophet Ezekiel and the
words he penned we will find the support we need to get
through the upcoming exciting times we are about to live
in
[00:01] kjv Ezekiel 34:11 For thus saith
the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my
sheep, and seek them out. [00:01] In the
millennium no matter where we are both physically and
mentally God knows where we are at [00:03]
kjv Ezekiel 34:12 As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in
the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so
will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of
all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy
and dark day. [00:04] No matter our
problems we are facing He will deliver us out of the
darkest clouds of trouble and by doing so it will
strengthen us and cause us to grow more dependant and
confident in Him [00:05] kjv Ezekiel 34:13
And I will bring them out from the people, and gather
them from the countries, and will bring them to their own
land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the
rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.
[00:06] Jesus is going to bring us out of
any tribulation that may come upon us in the new
millennium and gather us to Him as we work to do His will
in saving others in these last days [00:06]
No matter what may come God is not going
to let us down for He will be our supplier
[00:07] we can take comfort in knowing
that we are His and He will care for us in the new
millennium [00:07] amen
[00:07] kjv Ezekiel 34:14-15 Ezekiel 34:14
I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high
mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they
lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed
upon the mountains of Israel.
Ezekiel 34:15 I will feed my flock, and I will cause them
to lie down, saith the Lord GOD.
[00:08] the new millennium is not for us
to fear [00:08] Satan breeds this fear but
God has said I will feed you
[00:08] protect you
[00:08] comfort you
[00:09] and give you peace when all around
us troubles are appearing
[00:09] We do not have to lay awake at
night and worry about the bank have a computer problem
[00:10] Our God does not have a y2k thing
to worry about [00:10] He created
everything [00:10] know everything
[00:10] And I have never found where He
has ever gone back on His word or lost a battle
[00:10] amen
[00:11] We may face problems but we will
have the necessities to live
[00:11] He will provide for our families
[00:11] We may have to eat peanut butter
and crackers and drink water but it is still a gift from
God [00:12] He is not going to let us down
in the new millennium
[00:12] We must not worry about the new
millennium but must keep working for God and saving the
lost [00:13] kjz Ezekiel 34:16 I will seek
that which was lost, and bring again that which was
driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and
will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy
the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.
[00:13] God is going to take care of His
children [00:14] He will bind our wounds
[00:14] give us strength through our
infirmities [00:15] give us protection and
handle the enemy when he comes to our door to try and
plant the seeds of fear in our hearts [00:16]
Now we come to a part that really hit home
to me as I was preparing this study and the words are
harsh but they are something we must remember no matter
what may happen in the new year [00:16]
kjv ezekiel 34:17-18 Ezekiel 34:17 And as for you, O my
flock, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I judge between
cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats.
Ezekiel 34:18 Seemeth it a small thing unto you to have
eaten up the good pasture, but ye must tread down with
your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk
of the deep waters, but ye must foul the residue with
your feet?
[00:17] kjv Ezekiel 34:19-20 Ezekiel 34:19
And as for my flock, they eat that which ye have trodden
with your feet; and they drink that which ye have fouled
with your feet.
Ezekiel 34:20 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD unto
them; Behold, I, even I, will judge
between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle.

Because ye have thrust with side and with shoulder, and
pushed all the diseased with your horns, till ye have
scattered them abroad;
Ezekiel 34:22 Therefore will I save my flock, and they
shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle
and cattle. [00:18] these words are
addressed to us in the body of Christ
[00:18] With the upcoming new millennium
we will be facing a immense job in reaching the lost
[00:18] many are going to come [00:19]
and we will have to be careful that we do
not intimidate or push aside the new converts that will
come as we try to progress forward in our work for God
[00:20] We are going to have to treat each
other with the love of Jesus
[00:20] and not talk down about any of us
that may fall into troubles
[00:20] we will have to take the time to
help all who come
[00:20] even if it means sacrificing
ourselves to do it [00:21] I have at times
wanted to do a study but have had to stop to help someone
who comes in here for help [00:22] but I
must be sure that no matter what I must help those in
needs and forget myself
[00:22] and this is what we all will have
to do in this new millennium for we will see a huge
influx of hurting people coming in here for help
[00:23] kjv Ezekiel 34:23 And I will set
up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even
my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be
their shepherd.
[00:23] Our shepherd is the Lord and
Saviour Jesus Crist and He will care for us always even
in the new millennium [00:23] kjv Ezekiel
34:25-26 Ezekiel 34:25 And I will make with them a
covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to
cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the
wilderness, and sleep in the woods. Ezekiel 34:26 And I
will make them and the places round about my hill a
blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his
season; there shall be showers of blessing.
[00:24] God is going to protect us as we
do His work and He is going to bless us for our working
for Him [00:25] His peace to us is
priceless in this new millennium that is coming
[00:25] kjv Ezekiel 34:27-28 Ezekiel 34:27
And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the
earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in
their land, and shall know that I am the LORD, when I
have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them
out of the hand of those that served themselves of them.
Ezekiel 34:28 And they shall no more be a prey to the
heathen, neither shall the beast of the landdevour them;
but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them
afraid.

And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they
shall be no more
consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame
of the heathen any more.
Ezekiel 34:30 Thus shall they know that I the LORD their
God am with them, and that they, even the house of
Israel, are my people, saith the Lord GOD.
[22:01] And He is telling us We have no
fear for we are His people
[22:02] The new century is not going to be
a time of fear and depredation for the children of God
[22:02] but it s going to be a time of
glorious opportunity for us to reach the lost
[22:03] help the hurting
[22:03] heal the sick
[22:03] and defeat the enemy for the glory
of God [22:04] We will be watched in this
new millennium by our friends
[22:04] relative
[22:04] fellow workers
[22:04] and those around us [22:04]
as we face this new millennium [22:04]
and when they see the peace we have
[22:04] the joy we have
[22:05] the confidence we have [22:05]
and the love we have in Jesus [22:05]
as the world faces the new millennium with
fear [22:05] then they are going to come
to us and say [22:05] I want your peace
[22:05] I want you confidence [22:06]
I want your love
[22:06] Glory to God they are going to say
[22:06] I Want Your Jesus In My Life Too
[22:06] help me to find him [00:33]
and we can not afford to let the enemy tie
us up with fear of the coming new century
[00:33] We know this and take comfort in
these facts [00:34] we will be used by God
to show the world [00:34] that to Him we
are His people [00:34] we are his sons and
daughters to love [00:34] we are His
servants to obey [00:34] We are His
soldiers to fight [00:35] We are His
stewards to occupy [00:35] amen
[00:35] we are His souls winners to
witness [00:35] And we are His children
who please Him [00:35] kjv 1 john 5:4-5
1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the
world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world,
even our faith. 1 John 5:5 Who is he that overcometh the
world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of
God?
[00:36] Remember in this new century we
are His new century christians
[00:36] here to show the new century world
[00:37] that this is the same Jesus who
was born for their sacrifice
[00:37] died for their sins [00:37]
and glory to God rose from the grave to
give us all eternal life
[00:38] So in closing let me say [00:38]
It is with Jesus that we are going to Face
the new millennium
[00:38] and that through Him we will have
no fear of it [00:38] we will not be
worried of it [00:39] we will not be
stopped by it [00:39] but we are going to
go on and do even greater thing for the glory of God and
do more damage to the kingdom of Satan in the new
millennium
[00:40] Glory to God for this chance for
us in the new century
[00:40] For we have already won the new
century through Jesus
[00:40] Nothing we face is going to defeat
us [00:40] in the new century [00:41]
and work harder for our Lord and Saviour
Jesus Crist
[00:41] He was good for the year 1 ad
[00:41] and He is still great for the year
2000ad [00:42] Praise God for these times

[00:42] For we are going to see mighty
miracles in His name being done for His glory
