[00:04] Tonight we are going to be talking about a show that has been going on since the beginning of man. [00:05] It has been a daily struggle for some and then for others it has been only a few times.
[00:05] So let s get started. [00:05] ok
[00:06] At one time on television there use to be a game show called "Let's Make a deal"
[00:06] During this show the game host would walk through the audience
[00:07] which was made up of people dressed up in silly costumes bringing something from home to trade. [00:07] It never mattered what they brought for when the host chose one of them he would give them money for what ever they had. [00:08] But then there was a catch [00:08] He would then after giving them the money offer them a bigger prize to chose if they wanted to trade the money in to him
[00:09] Now this bigger prize was always hidden from site either behind a big box or a curtain
[00:09] And sometimes when they chose the bigger prize they were zonked!
[00:10] instead of a nice car or something they could use there would b junk or worthless broken items. [00:11] and so it was that sometimes the participant would go home with less then he brought all because he chose to go for what he thought was better.
[00:11] and so it is today that we are in a daily game of lets make a deal
[00:12] And always daily the shows host is there standing , smiling, and waiting to wheel and deal.
[00:13] Today both the child of God and the child of the world are being approached by the game host from hell. [00:13] as he smiles choosing his next victim for the game.
[00:14] And he is quickly moving for he knows these are the last days and his show is about to be canceled [00:14] By the second coming of our Lord. [00:15] But instead of trading for trinkets he is dealing for the birthright and inheritance of the participant. [00:16] With the ultimate goal of having them receive eternal damnation for their reward.
[00:16] kjv romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. [00:17] Our choice to sell will lead us to death. [00:18] Satan is a master game host in the game of a spiritual let's make a deal and he is offering the best his show can deliver.
[00:19] By using the things of the world he tries to entice one for a trade
[00:19] but we have to remember what Jesus told us [00:20] kjv Mark; 8:36-37 Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
Mark 8:37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? [00:21] What is it that Satan can offer to get you or I to play let's make a deal?
[00:22] Satan from the beginning of time as always tried to wheel and deal to trick a person into freely giving his or hers birthright away and then controlling that person forever. [00:23] he can make the grass look greener on the other side but he covers the thorns up well

[00:24] But there is a weakness in his tactics. that we can find.
[00:24] Satan has no imagination in his tactics [00:24] for he has used the same tactics over and over again in his game of lets make a deal.
[00:25] If we trust in the Holy spirit we can be safe from falling into the trade.
[00:26] To get one to make a deal and trade his birthright Satan has always used what I like to call a three fold sin [00:27] kjv 1john 2:15-17 1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1 John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. [00:28] What is the birthright? What is the inheritance? How do they go together? To answer these questions let us look at the definition of these two things. **Birthright**=A right or rights that a person has, because of being in a certain family or nation. **Inheritance**=A legacy or bequest given to a person. It is ownership by virtue of a birthright.
[00:29] kjv romans 8:16-17 Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
Romans 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
[00:29] This tells us that we are joint heirs with Christ of the birthright inheritance This birthright is solely belonging to Jesus and is His by right of first born. but it was passed to us by His grace because we are adopted as first born through Him.(Jesus) [00:30] passed to us through Him [00:30] this is what we have that Satan wants to trade us out of.
[00:31] The inheritance is :***The Kingdom of God with all its blessings. While enjoyment of it begins in this life, insofar as the Kingdom is already present but the full possession is not until a future date.***

[00:38] Now along with this privilege of birthright there comes more responsibility expected of us. In the Jewish family the first born who had the birthright was expected to take a greater responsibility for his actions and those of his family. *To whom much is given much is expected**
[00:39] This is also expected of us in saving the lost of the world through Jesus
[00:39] How valuable is this birthright? [00:40] In it we have inherited the following. [00:40] 1. eternal life through Jesus [00:40] 2. The gift of the Holy Spirit [00:41] Confidence in our Lord to see us through [00:41] joints heirs for the blessings of heaven [00:41] Above all we have the inheritance by birthright [00:41] salvation

[00:43] It is a sad fact that many fall into the game and trade their
birthright from God for temporal things of the world [00:43] we trade short term gratification for eternal blessings

[00:48] 3. ***Samson*** †Birthright† To be a judge of Israel and a champion for his people.///3 Fold Deal=He satisfied his carnal pleasure through Delilah^^^Lust of Flesh^^^He told the secret of his strength by her prompting and enticing looks.^^^Lust of Eyes^^^He had never been beaten and trusted in his own judgement^^^Pride of Life^^^So Samson lost his birthright has a judge and champion of his people for a momentary fulfillment of his carnal nature [00:49] kjv judges 13:24-25 Judges 13:24 And the woman bare a son, and called his name Samson: and the child grew, and the LORD blessed him. Judges 13:25 And the Spirit of the LORD began to move him at times in the camp of Dan

With all the authority and powers given to the disciples./// 3 Fold Deal=Judas wanted to be powerful and well to do^^^Lust of Eyes^^^He betrayed Jesus for money wealth 30 pieces of silver^^^Lust of Flesh^^^ He killed himself instead of asking for repentance and forgiveness^^^Pride of Life^^^
[00:56] If Judas had not sold his birthright he could have been like peter or the rest of the disciples by being used mightily of God. but the carnal hunger in him made him sell his birthright for 30 pieces of silver.
[00:57] Now these have been 4 cases of people selling their birthrights for carnal pleasures
[00:57] For carnal instant gratification they sold their future
[00:58] they chose the big box on the stage of life Satan had offered
[00:58] and they were zonked! [00:58] what would you sell your birthright for? [00:59] what would cause you to forfeit your inheritance?
[01:00] Think about it
[01:00] Satan is playing the game of Let's make a deal [01:00] with us all if we give him a chance [01:01] Satan is saying let me offer you this my friend? [01:01] you can keep the thing you have now or you can trade it for what I have on the stage of the world [01:01] smiling he looks at you are you a willing participant
[01:02] could you be tempted by wealth [01:02] power
[01:02] authority
[01:02] carnal pleasure
[01:02] worldly fame
[01:02] longevity
[01:02] love
[01:02] for another
[01:03] material comforts [01:03] revenge
[01:04] there is the prizes now do you want to say Let's make a deal
[01:04] all it takes is the birthright you have. [01:04] God forbid that we fall into the trap of Satan [01:05] God has given us this wonderful precious birthright
[01:05] It is priceless
[01:05] and a thing to hold on to dearly [01:05] let us not go into the game and make a deal [01:06] If we are going to make a deal let it be with God
[01:06] Lord we are going to work for you [01:06] to save the lost
[01:06] free the captives [01:06] heal the sick
[01:07] return the birthright to the one's that God had planned to have them
[01:07] and in doing this through the power of the Holy spirit
[01:07] we will cancel the show of the ages [01:08] and end Satans career in the job of hell host to Let's Make a Deal
